The battery came with the tools necessary to open my iPod, and it was very easy to do. Getting the factory battery out was the most difficult part, because it is glued to the case, but I just pried it out with the same tools I used to open the iPod. Hooking the battery up was simple and I had the iPod back to working order in no time. My 5th generation 30GB iPod video is now working perfectly again.
